| To be a house of prayer, a place of worship. A house of fellowship, a place of growth. A house of encouragement, a place where Christian development begins. | |||||||||

Having lost his father at age two, and being separated from his family at the age of five, Richard's life appeared to be headed down a one-way, dead-end street. Placed in foster homes where he would experience physical and emotional abuse, by the age of ten, Richard found himself living on the streets of Baltimore. All seemed hopeless, all seemed lost... but God had a plan for this young man, and the gates of hell would not prevail against it! Today as an ordained Minister, Richard serves as the Pastor for Emmanuel Faith Center, a church he started in the autumn of 2004 in Perry Hall, Maryland. Richard holds a degree from the University of Phoenix and a diploma from Rhema Bible School, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. "If God be for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31. |
